Introduction
If you use Google G-Suite for business email, you may find that when logging into your account from a new computer, you get asked for a code that's sent to your mobile. If you don't have your phone with you, or if Anthian need to log in to your mail for support purposes, or if your office needs access, this can be troublesome, so we recommend adding an alternative verification method of an email address before it becomes an issue.
How to add email as an additional verification method
1. Log into your gmail as usual
2. Click on the Google Apps icon as shown above, then click on "Account"
3. Click on Security on the left, then scroll down and locate where it shows Ways we can verify it's you as shown above
4. And then click where it shows Recovery email - add an email address (there may be an existing email address in there).
5. You will probably be asked again for your G-Suite (gmail) password
6. Once you've keyed that in, click on the button to add a recovery email as below:
7. You'll be asked for the new recovery email address. Type this in and click on Done.
