This app is used to securely authenticate you when connecting to your company VPN. This article explains how to set this up for the first time.
1. You'll need to find the mOTP app in the App Store. Go to the App Store and click the search button (shown ringed in red below) and type 'motp', then press Search
2. You'll need to purchase this - tap where it says £0.99, approve the purchase and tap Open.
3. You'll see this screen:

4. On the next screen, tap where it says 'Generate Secret' in yellow. It will ask you to shake the phone. This generates a random number internally. You'll need to shake your phone for about 20 seconds.
5. On the next screen, you'll see a long key generated, like this:
(we've obscured this key here). All you need to do is tap the white envelope - shown ringed in red above.
6. This will take you into the email app, ready to send this to us. At this stage, you'll need to make up a 4-digit PIN (of your choosing). Please add this onto the email as below, and address the email to ian.durrant@anthian.co.uk.
Please make the subject 'Secret' as shown above and tap the send button.
7. That's all you need to do for now. We will explain to you how to use the app itself when connecting remotely to your office.
